What you get

Access per your tier (Foundation/Builder/Pro/Enterprise) or one-off (Triage Call, Contract Review/Production, Homeowner Pack), subject to your purchased human-review tier.

Liability cap

Lower of 12 months' fees OR £10k one-off / £25k Formally Signed-Off. Excluded: consequential, indirect, loss of profit/data.

Termination + governing law

Per Subscription Terms; immediate for serious breach. England & Wales; exclusive jurisdiction.

4. Subscription Termsv1.0

Billing

Auto-renew monthly via Bacs DD or card (Stripe).

Cancellation

Anytime via account or kit@kitbuild.ai. Effect end of cycle. No mid-cycle refund unless Service Failure.

Price changes

30-day email notice. You can cancel before new price applies.

Failed payment

Stripe: 3 retries over 7 days. After 14 days unpaid, account closed.

Cooling-off

14 days under CCRs 2013 if no material use. Waived if you tick start-immediately at sign-up AND use any agent.

Tier change

Upgrade pro-rata immediate. Downgrade at next renewal.

5. Refund Policyv1.0

Subscriptions

14-day cooling-off if no material use. Else no mid-period refund unless Service Failure (3 consecutive failed queries OR review >5 working days late).

One-offs

Pre-delivery: full refund within 14 days. Post-delivery deficient: re-do free or 50% refund.

Triage Call

>24h: full. <24h: 50%. Post-call: none.

Processing

14 days to original method.

6. Right to Cancelv1.0 · CCRs 2013

Statutory

Consumers: 14-day cooling-off under CCRs 2013 for distance contracts.

Exception

If you tick start-immediately at sign-up and use any agent, the right is extinguished for the part performed.

How

Refund

14 days to original payment method.

7. Direct Debit Guaranteev1.0 · Bacs verbatim

This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.

If there are any changes to amount, date or frequency, Lovatt CC will notify you 10 working days in advance.

If an error is made, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund from your bank or building society. If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Lovatt CC asks you to.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by contacting your bank or building society. Please also notify us.

What KIT is

AI assistance with chartered oversight (MRICS · MCIOB · MQSI · FACQP · MiConstM). Five agents (Estimator/QS/Variation/H&S Manager/Construction Manager), Homeowner Bot, Contract Production/Review, Triage Call.

Review tiers

Foundation/Builder = spot-check 5-20%. Pro/Enterprise = full review 24-48hr SLA. Contract Review/Production = formally signed off under PI cover.

NOT regulated advice

NOT structural, legal, financial, planning or party-wall advice. NOT site supervision. NOT covered by PI at non-signed-off tiers.

Engage a directly-instructed regulated professional for

Structural sign-off, planning consent, party-wall, BSA 2022 duty-holder, building-control, financial/tax/legal advice, adjudication/litigation, HSE defence.

Triage Call escalation

£75 / 30 min chartered consultation. Fee credited if upgrade within 14 days.

9. Acceptable Usev1.0

Prohibited

Unlawful use; circumventing Building Regs / fire safety / CDM 2015 / BSA 2022; impersonating regulated professional; resale without white-label; scraping; abusing reviewers; malware.

Enforcement

Warning → 7-day suspension → termination. Immediate for serious breach. No refund on AUP-breach termination.

11. Indemnity & Limitation of Liabilityv1.0 · LOAD-BEARING

Cap

Lower of 12 months' fees OR £10k one-off / £25k Formally Signed-Off. Per-event aggregate £100k.

Insurance

PI cover £2m [TBC] for Formally Signed-Off Contract Review/Production.

Excluded

Loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, business interruption, consequential / indirect / punitive.

Mutual indemnity

You for your breach; KIT for IP infringement claims against the platform.

Cannot be excluded

Death/personal injury by negligence, fraud, statutory consumer rights.

Force majeure

Termination after 60 days continuous (AI / payment / government action).
